Charnwood Road Baptist Church

A lot of work and prayer has created a place at 8 The Bullring in the town centre for the young people of Shepshed to meet and the official opening took place on Saturday 13th June.

There will be so many opportunities for people to practically support this project, from face to face work with young people both in the building and out on the streets to cleaning, painting, fundraising, administration and prayer. PASSION has been a long term vision for so many of us, and now is our opportunity to be at the start of the realization of this vision.

As we move into this next exciting stage of God's plan all of this needs to continue.. and to help direct your support and prayers we are still fund raising, but most importantly looking for people who can give their time to building relationships with these young people.

Please contact Mads Morgan on 07795 805196 or mads.morgan' if you want anymore information about PASSION, have ideas or feel you may be able to give time to the young people of Shepshed.

The place was overflowing when the Bishop of Leicester spoke to all there. The  Bishop, at the request of the young people, then took up a cue to start a game of snooker to mark the official opening and young and old had a good look round before The Passion opened it's doors to the youth of Shepshed on Friday 19th June.
