Our Ladies Fellowship together
with Howard, our Pastor, recently enjoyed an afternoon outing to Felley Priory.
Athough the weather was cold the sun shone as we walked around the gardens there enjoying the views andidentifying the many different plants and flowers.
There was a huge display of daffodils in one part of the garden. Having never seen such a large display before I thought it was beautiful and the sight reminded us of our God, who had created them, and gave us
such pleasure in His creation.
There were lots of lovely trees, bushes and flowers including this unusual golden coloured magnolia.
There were many stunnning examples of topiary around the garden. As these photos show it must have
involved lots of hard work and care over many years.
Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their afternoon out as we indulged in tea/coffee and cake in the little cafe there before ending the trip with a visit to the nursery for some plants to take home with us.
