A group of 11 gathered on Thursday 8th October for a 'Pudding Tasting Evening' which was greatly enjoyed by all. There were really nice puddings to taste and a competition to guess the pudding with the highest calories and also the one with the least with prizes to be won.
And the ladies all ready to start the tasting
The empty dishes and the table at the end
The pudding with the highest calorie value was the white chocolate trifle (4,000 calories)
and the lowest were the plum and apple pies (650 calories each)
Maureen won some heart shaped baking tins; Jean won some fancy cake baking cases;
Judi and Emma won wooden spoons as runners up.
It turned out to be a great night together and we finished by discussing suggestions for future events.
