Judith EllisMedical update 3

Dear All
Thanks for your continued prayers and support. I have not received my full report medical report yet. It looks like it will take another 3 or 4 days for all the tests to be completed. However, I do have good news to share with you. I am feeling much better. Yesterday morning I had been very disappointed as I have an abscess that has grown inside the wound on my right arm. As the scar has almost healed over the puss cannot escape. It is painful. The Dr said that the antibiotics I took last in my body for 10 days, so no need for anymore. If the pain does not go away then I will need to have the wound re-opened, drained and cleaned each day. However, at Bible Study last night 3 people had pictures or a word during the songs to pray over me and lay hands on me. I know God was moving through their prayers and yours. By the end of the study I had some feeling start to come back in my head. Today my arm is less painful. This morning my Dr said the initial tests show I am clear. But to wait til all the full testing has been done to be 100% sure. Please pray I can sleep well and recover from the emotional roller coaster of the last week. I am believing and have hope for full healing and recovery and no cancer.
Take care
Judith

Medical Update 2 - 11 September

Dear All
Thank you so much for your prayers and emails. Last week was a hard week of really not doing well physically or emotionally. Today I am feeling more like myself again. My cold has gone, my cough has nearly gone. The scar on my forehead is healing nicely. I was going to achieve my life long ambition to be able to raise just one eyebrow like Dr Spock from Star Trek (all be it permanently to look like that), as well as have no wrinkles on the right side of my forehead (a very cheap facelift as only cost 30 pounds, I did ask the surgeon to do the otherside of my face as he was pulling the skin so tight but he declined). Anyhow, the swelling has gone down so no Dr Spock look alike or partial face lift is now looking probable. The scar on my right arm has stopped giving out puss and I pray the last part of the redness disappears this week. I took my last lot of antibiotics today. The nerve that was damaged on my head has been incredibly painful, as it tries to heal. So I do see pain as a positive thing here and I am getting some feeling back in my head and on the right side of my face. I am praying that all will be restored fully. I hope to get my results from the biopsey early this week. I will send a third update out as soon as I receive them.
i was sent a song by from Laura Story called Blessings, which kind of sums up how I am feeling at the moment.

Medical Update 1  - 7 september

Dear All
Just a quick update from my Dr appointment today. As some of you know I went to see the Dr last week re some moles/skin area that was growing quite fast. I saw the surgeon who recommended to have the skin removed on Sunday under local anesthetic. I hope to get the biopsy results next week. I had quite a large area removed from my forehead (2 inches by 1 inch) and a smaller area removed from my right forearm. The right forearm one has become infected, which is not surprising in monsoon weather. Please pray the infection heals. My forehead one has been incredibly painful, but no infection. The Dr said today that a main nerve on that side of my face has been damaged or cut. I have no feeling or partial sensation in part of my head and around my temple area and right eye. Like when you have an anesthetic for dental treatment. Please join with me in prayer for healing of the nerves and less pain would be great too! I have some 'happy' pills to keep me going in the mean time and people making dinner for me each night.

Take care
Judith
