Church Improvements
Re-dedication of the coffee bar area

On Sunday June 3rd, after the morning service, the new coffee bar area was re-dedicated . John Halford and Alan Todhunter, who did all of the renovation work, cut the ribbon and the area was declared officially open. Howard, our Pastor, blessed the asrea and the fellowship celebrated in the usual way with coffee , tea and cake!!
Over the last few months we have been carrying out improvements to the back of the church. The first stage was to build a ramp for those who are unable to cope with the steps from the church into the Choir Vestry.
We then blocked up one door at the end of the Choir Vestry and created a tea/coffee bar in the corner. A tap and new electric sockets were installed and we were ready by the Easter weekend to start serving coffee and tea from here after services.

A new storage cupboard has been built in the opposite corner
The partition between the Choir Vestry and the back corridor has been removed too and opened up the back and what a difference it will make. Folk will be able to chat here after services or when they are collecting their children from the various groups that meet here during the week.

Photos taken during the alterations show the partition between the corridor and Choir Vestry during its removal. The area is now much lighter and a good place to gather together

We do thank Alan and John for all the hard work they have put into the alterations
