Radio Leicester's 'Sing Christmas' 2007
The Crown Public House in Shepshed was the venue for Radio Leicester's 'Sing Christmas' broadcast live from The Craddock Arms in Leicester. The Everards pubs in and around Leicestershire invited the Churches Together in Shepshed to come to the Crown pub and take part. Carols were sung and the Christmas story was read by clergy from different churches and well known people such as Willie Thorn, Rosemary Conelly, and the founder of Rainbows. The Rainbows choir sang, and a youth group told the Chrsitmas story in rap fashion. This was really well done and it was a most enjoyable night and we were made very welcome at the Crown.

Easter Sunday 2007
We had a really good Easter Day starting with several attending the Sonrise Service on the Beacon at 6.30am. The day then progressed to a full English Breakfast at 9am at church, cooked by one of our fellowship, Kenny.
After being fed well physically we were then fed spiritually in our morning and evening services as we celebrated the rising of our Lord Jesus Christ from the dead.
